As an experienced Financial Adviser, Maree knows the importance of understanding each client’s unique situation and empowers them to understand their own. What she enjoys most about her job is presenting her clients with a plan that gives them peace of mind.
Maree understands that her clients are real people, and tailors her approach on an individual basis. Most importantly, she wants her clients to see her as part of their team.
“I believe in the team. As New Zealanders, we think we can ‘do everything ourselves’, but teams are critical for success, and I want clients to know I’m dedicated to their team. I totally believe in what’s best for them.”
Maree realises that the goals of her female clients don’t always match up to the traditional financial planning model. As with all her clients, she helps plan for a future that is real to them, ensuring they feel seen and understood throughout the process.
“I had one client who was just invisible amongst all these entities. I said, “What about you?” She said no one had ever said that. It was a real moment, and I felt that she trusted me.”
