Richard enjoys working closely with people to build long-lasting relationships that help them reach their personal, financial and lifestyle goals.

In 1994, Richard completed a Bachelor of Commerce and Management at Lincoln University. He then embarked on his OE to the UK, where he worked for British Telecom as a financial analyst. Upon his return home, he joined NZFP as a plan writer/technical services manager.

Richard is a member of the Institute of Financial Advisers and was Chairperson of the Institute's Canterbury branch. He has completed a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (Personal Financial Planning) extramurally through Massey University.

Away from work, Richard loves spending time with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys personal fitness and coaching rugby referees.
