Our History

New Zealand Financial Planning (NZFP) was setup over 20 years ago with the objective of being able to help everyday New Zealanders establish themselves financially and enjoy their retirement. Originally formed in Auckland, NZFP quickly expanded to open offices in Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin and added to our adviser base to broaden our reach and ability to help more kiwis.

The following years saw us build a solid base of clients, whom we helped through a relatively turbulent decade in the last century. The first decade of the 21st century turned out to be even more tumultuous, with major market upheavals over a number of prolonged periods, which ultimately led to the failure of multiple financial institutions not only in New Zealand but around the world. Our ethics and investing practices thankfully protected our clients against those permanent losses.

New Zealand Financial Planning is eager to embark on the next 20 years and help more New Zealanders create their financial independence and protect their wealth so that they can have the freedom to enjoy life.
