Ron Lander

Ron has been based in Tauranga as a Financial Planner with New Zealand Financial Planning Company Ltd since 2001; assisting clients achieve their lifestyle and financial goals through careful planning and sound advice.  Prior to this, Ron gained extensive experience in the financial services sector, including 20 years in rural banking, where he worked closely with clients to help them achieve their business and financial goals. This experience was gained with the Rural Bank, the Primary Industry Bank of Australia (PIBA) where Ron progressed  to the position of Senior Manager New Zealand and Rabobank.

Ron has an in-depth knowledge of the financial and rural sectors; holds undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications; has gained accreditation with the Certified Financial PlannerCM certification; is a Member of the Institute of Financial Advisers; is a  Registered Property Valuer; an Associate of the NZ Institute of Valuers and a Senior Member of the Property Institute of NZ.

Ron's range of experience has proved invaluable in helping him understand his clients' needs and in assisting them clarify and achieve their lifestyle and financial goals over time.

Outside of work Ron is a member of the Tauranga Te Papa Rotary Club and, along with his wife and two daughters, is passionate about the Bay of Plenty beach lifestyle, getting out on his surfboard when time and conditions permit!
